Great app, very useful, and easy to use. Works perfect offline which is useful for tourist. Its a pity one cant search streets- but as a monument search works great.

If you want to explore Paris on your own I recommend this app. Once you get how it works its a fluent workflow and using your phone is also very inconspicious and much easier than a map.

Positive: -Works well offline. -Step by step routes on foot or by public transit is a nice function. -Although Information on sights are provided by other users, there is a reasonable amount of info at the moment and it will grow as the App becomes popular. Negative: -No means to export itinerary to other applications or printer. -Only one itinerary can be created; creating a second one will delete the first. This App will help you plan your trip more than give you information on the city.

I love how this app automatically generates trips based on settings instead of some apps that only serve as a copy of a paper guide book Highly recommended!

Was very helpful during our stay in Paris. Provides a lot of offline information (including offline wikipedia) so we were able to cut down on roaming costs. Only negative is that scrolling the map is a little sluggish with the 3GS

I am actually in Paris now after a 4 day stay in London. I bought this app for both cities and am so glad I have them with me. It is user friendly and worth every penny. It helps you plan your itinerary, choose a good hotel in your price range in an area near the sites that interest you, accurately estimates walking times, plots out your itinerary on a map or in list format, provides lots of background info -- it does more than I can describe in a brief review and does it off-line. Whoever designed this family of apps understands the needs of people who travel. Take a little time to learn this app before you go. Youll want to make maximum use of it on your trip.

It was so nice to use the phone and not a map to see where we were going. Gps function shows exactly where you are. Security info on latest scams was so true and best info from all the guides I read. Definitely plan first. Some of my criticisms were lack of ability for personal notes now fixed. Dont know if they fixed problem that when adding a new place sometimes it switched name and street and you had to fix. Would also be better if address auto put marker on map instead of manual. Augmented reality was mediocre. Was an amazing itinerary planner and will buy more!

I dont normally review apps, and I certainly dont engage in inflated-ratings. 3/5 means a good app that does what I expect it to. mTrips Paris guide was *invaluable* during our séjour à Paris. It was truly demonstrative of how far technology has come and how it can enrich our lives in the most profound ways. My girlfriend and I worked out our 10-day itinerary (7 actually) and thanks to mTrip, we made the most efficient use of the time spent on our feet. Honestly. The $6 I spent on this saved us unknown sums of money and gave us easily one of the best times of our lives. (I have the photos to prove it!) You cant put a price on memories!

The best offline app for Paris tour!

My wife and I would have been lost navigating the non-linear layout of Paris without this apps offline navigation system. What a blessing to have on our vacation! Also great was the info on attractions near our GPS location, as we were often curious as to what buildings we were surrounded by. (Great detailed info and history available too.) A must have for navigating big cities while travelling, and not wanting to use carrier data. 5 stars!

The advantage of this app is that we can use it online. It gives us the itinerary if you want to walk or use re metro. I could not have visited Paris without it. I would highly recommend it !

I didnt have a lot of time to plan my trip as a result of having a busy work schedule. This app gave me all of the information about the best Paris has to offer including closest metro, cost and hours of operation. Best of all it can be used without data which can add up while abroad. Press the compass symbol and the app will tell you where you are in the city and what direction you are currently facing. I would have been lost on my first day without this app. Its a must have for anyone coming to Paris.

I used it in Rome, London and now Paris. Its a great tool to find your way, find the best restaurant around (with the comment of other users) and discover little gem of history around, while my wife is shopping.

This is a great app!! I am a perpetual vacation planner, and have yet to find an app that has the options that this one has. I had an issue yesterday with the direction tabs not displaying the full instructions from one location to the next, however, after contacting the developer and getting a very quick fix all is resolved. I will be using this app for all future travels. Kudos to them for the quick response and such a well designed product!

I was planning an 8 day trip to Paris and came across this app. It suggested things I might want to do, allowed me to add in some tours/destinations that werent included (cars rouges, my accommodation) and allowed me to organize these by day/time of day. Before I left, I spent 2 hours tops getting my itinerary layer out. And that was it! Done! But the truly remarkable part is that it gives directions without 3G/wifi connectivity. It will guide you from where you are to your next destination. You can also preview the route - either walking or by transit - beforehand so that you can familiarize yourself with the details before you start your day. You can always find your way "home" from wherever you are. Start wandering around, duck in to a cafe, window shop... You can always find your way to ANYTHING. It is such peace of mind! Great app.
